Teacher Spotlight: Matthew Torres

Fun Fact: Loves Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches

Matthew is a current student at FIU finishing a Bachelors in Music Education. He has been playing brass instruments for nine years and also teaches guitar. His greatest advice to young musicians is to practice with a metronome.

Noteworthy!

Congratulations to Matthew Pacis, our student of the month, for getting a superior on his FBA Solo & Ensemble piece, Marine's Hymn! Matthew takes drum lessons with Emily and is in 8th grade. He plays percussion for the Pines Charter West MS band, where he recieved the award for "Most Outstanding Musician." Matthew also enjoys playing golf and loves Harry Potter. You go, rockstar!
